Montpellier-Méditerranée

This is the biggest airport in the Languedoc,however compared with other major airports elswhere in France,modestly sized and within easy reach of the city or the beaches.
It is served by Ryanair and Easyjet,as well as Air France,Iberia,Transavia and has also links to North Africa.

Beziers-Cap d'Agde

The Héraults second airport is within short distance of the Languedoc beaches of Aude and Hérault,it is served by Ryanair with links to Bristol and Luton,also to Germany and Sweden.
It is easy accessable,and due to its small size,spared of long qeues,but this goes for all Languedoc airports.

Nîmes-Alès

Nîmes is the nearest airport to vist the Gard and  attractions such as the Cévennes and the Lozère department,which has no international airport,it is also close to the Camargue.
It has links to Liverpool,Luton and Brussels,all by Ryanair.

Carcassonne-Salvaza

Also a small airport, in the heart of the Cathar country with various links to the UK,Ireland,Belgium and Portugal.
Only a few kilometres away from the medieval city.

Perpignan-Rivesaltes

Situated in the deep South of the Languedoc,in Catalan country,served by Ryanair,Flybe and BmiBaby,links with UK and Belgium.

All airports have city shuttle links and car hire facilities.

Alternatives close to Languedoc

Two major aiports are in the proximity of the Languedoc region,Toulouse- Blagnac,is approximately 100 kms west of Carcassonne,an 80 kms east of Nîmes is the airport of Marseille-Provence,both are served by low-cost carriers as well as all major airlines with links to all of both Europe and Northern Africa.

Also worth to mention,especially for those who visit the Southern part of the Languedoc,is the airport of Girona in Spain,at approximately 75 kms South of the French border,and an important hub for Ryanair.
